WANNA GO WALKIES?

We are always on the look out for volunteers to help with exercising the dogs in our care from our centre in:

Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

Dog walking volunteers can make a real difference to a dogs welfare by helping get the dogs out of a kennel environment. They provide valuable real world feedback on the behaviours and reactions of our dogs, as well as providing mental and physical stimulation and exercise that allows them to be settled and calm during their stay with us.

Dog walking runs seven days a week between 9.00am-11.00am & 2.00pm - 7.00pm.

As a volunteer dog walker you must be experienced and able to handle dogs that may be reactive to other dogs, that may pull and be stronger than the average dog. You and others with you need to be aged 16 years and over, have experience of walking dogs as you will be responsible for them when you take them out.

On your first visit you will complete a short registration form and show identification. You will read about how we need the dog walking to be done with Happy Staffie and then you will be able to go for your first dog walk.

All dog walking slots are pre-booked, and you can come on any day of the week and walk from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The dogs will normally be walked on harnesses and we will provide you with poo bags and water if needed.

To get involved and offer your support please complete the form below and a member of the team will be in touch.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FOLDERS as sometimes our replies may go into these.
